Usage and Biology

The Protease was isolated from the human rhinovirus strain 14 and belongs to the class of 3C proteases. The PreSciccion protease which is selled by GE, Sigma and many other, and is used for tag cleavage is based on this protease. Its optimized to an maximum activity at 4°C.
